All orders are shipped directly from Japan with complimentary international delivery (DDP), which means the price you see includes all shipping fees, taxes, and import duties.

No hidden costs, no surprise invoices — simply a seamless and worry-free experience.

1. Complimentary Worldwide Delivery (DDP)

• For Orders of USD $300 or More:
  
  All orders of $300 USD or above qualify for complimentary international delivery.
  
  Your total price includes all duties, taxes, tariffs, and shipping fees, ensuring a smooth and transparent purchasing experience.

• For Orders Below USD $300:
  
  A flat delivery fee of $35 USD will be applied at checkout.
  
  This fee also includes full insurance and customs clearance, ensuring the same level of care and protection.

• Carriers:
  
  We primarily ship via FedEx International Priority, offering fast and reliable service with real-time tracking and signature confirmation.
  
  During certain conditions, we may use equivalent premium carriers.

2. Current Service Areas:

During our online shop launch period, YUUGEN.ART offers shipping to:

• United States
• Singapore

3. Shipping Timeline:

• Orders are usually dispatched within 7 business days after payment confirmation.
• If your item is made-to-order or temporarily out of stock, you will be notified promptly with the estimated lead time.
• When multiple items are purchased together, your order will be shipped once all items are ready.

4. Tracking and Delivery:

• Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing tracking details.
• You will also receive automated updates as your package moves through each stage of delivery.
• A signature may be required upon delivery to ensure your item’s secure receipt.

Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or forwarding addresses.

5. Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees:

All shipments are handled on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

This means:

• All import duties, customs taxes, and brokerage fees are already included in your purchase price.
• You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.
• This policy applies to all regions currently served (United States and Singapore).

6. Packaging and Handling:

Each piece is individually inspected and packaged with the utmost care, often wrapped in furoshiki or traditional protective materials to reflect the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship.

All shipments are fully insured against loss or damage during transit.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with detailed photos of the item and packaging, and we will promptly arrange a resolution.

7. Customs, Delays, and Exceptions

While customs procedures are typically smooth under DDP, rare delays may occur due to local inspections or increased seasonal volume.

These circumstances are beyond our control, but we will assist in monitoring and communicating with the carrier whenever necessary.
