A sculptural ceramic figure from Kōbeigama's celebrated Egyptian Gods series, Bastet is rendered in her classical feline form—the sky goddess who guards against evil spirits, delights in music, and watches over the sanctity of the home.

Around her neck rests a scarab pendant, sacred emblem of the sun god—a quiet detail that grounds the piece in myth and meaning.

Kōbeigama's signature blue glaze is applied in four to five layered coats, fired, then finished with hand-applied gold accents and fired once more—a meticulous, time-honored process carried out entirely by master artisans.
