A sculptural ceramic figure from Kōbeigama's celebrated Egyptian Gods series, Sekhmet is rendered in her classical lion form—the fierce goddess believed to ward off illness and disease.

At her feet rests a ring bearing the motif of the sun—a wearable piece, allowing the goddess's protection to be carried beyond the collection itself.

Kōbeigama's signature blue glaze is applied in four to five layered coats, fired, then finished with hand-applied gold accents and fired once more—a meticulous, time-honored process carried out entirely by master artisans.

The deep cobalt glaze, layered and fired multiple times, produces a rich, luminous surface with genuine depth of color.
