A sculptural ceramic figure from Kōbeigama's celebrated Egyptian Gods series, this larger presentation reimagines Bastet—sky goddess and sacred messenger of the sun—in the form of Japan's iconic beckoning cat, her raised paw said to summon fortune and prosperity into the space it guards.

A rare fusion of Egyptian myth and Japanese tradition, this exotic maneki-neko is generously scaled to command presence at an entrance or storefront, inviting wealth and welcome in equal measure.

Kōbeigama's signature blue glaze is applied in four to five layered coats, fired, then finished with hand-applied gold accents and fired once more—a meticulous, time-honored process carried out entirely by master artisans.
