A sculptural ceramic figure from Kōbeigama's celebrated Egyptian Gods series, Sobek is rendered in his classical crocodile form—a creature revered in ancient Egypt as a bringer of the Nile's abundance and fertility.

Around his neck rests an Eye of Horus pendant, symbol of wisdom and all-seeing protection—a quiet detail that grounds the piece in myth and meaning.

Kōbeigama's signature blue glaze is applied in four to five layered coats, fired, then finished with hand-applied gold accents and fired once more—a meticulous, time-honored process carried out entirely by master artisans.
