A sculptural ceramic figure from Kōbeigama's celebrated Egyptian Gods series, Apis is rendered in his classical bull form—the god of fertility and abundance, revered by those who work the land and provide sustenance.

He bears the sun upon his head, wings upon his shoulders, and a wheat pendant at his chest—symbols of strength, prosperity, and the harvest that sustains life.

Kōbeigama's signature blue glaze is applied in four to five layered coats, fired, then finished with hand-applied gold accents and fired once more—a meticulous, time-honored process carried out entirely by master artisans.
